Cutlers Bridge

1) A bridge, probably near to Clough Wheels on the boundary of Sheffield and Derbyshire.

In 1668 John Bowman of Greenhill in Derbyshire was returning home from Sheffield market on the footway towards Highley

and about the mid-way … one John Brumhead overtook him, and they past along until they came against the cutlers bridge. Highley is Heeley, on the boundary of Sheffield and Derbyshire, so the bridge was probably in the vicinity of Clough Wheels.
