This word has been noted once only: 1538-9 et de xviijd de Domino Conyers, Domino de Yarome, pro redditu de Brigferme per annum solvendis. Conyers was paying for the ‘farm’ of the bridge so the inference is that he derived financial advantage from that, perhaps in tolls.
