1) A succulent herb with pink flowers and thick stem and leaves.

It grows readily on walls and on the roofs of houses, and has medicinal uses. It was an ingredient in several recipes in a cow-doctor’s memorandum book: c.1819 To cure Claps take box and wormwood boil in water and give it them and anoint the barrand with houseleek and Cream, South Crosland.
